UPDATE: I am no longer doing new shows and have not for quite some time because I don't have as much to say about politics these days. I have lost most of my faith in our election process with the presidential election, I lost the drive to support what I feel to be right, I lost my sense of eagerness to learn more, and I have lost a lot of the hope I had that I could make a difference. I say all of this not to be depressing, but to explain why I abruptly stopped my show. I yearn for the day when I feel as passionate about anything again, but until then, I will live my life as I did pre-show. Maybe I will start a show on some other topic someday. :)
I started this show because I was curious about some political issues that were not being covered fully in the news. The more I learned from my research, the more I realized the media tells neither the full story nor the full truth. They have an agenda and cater to that agenda. So what is the truth?
I am certainly very opinionated and not afraid to express my thoughts, but I honestly try to understand the whole picture. I try to see all sides of a topic, and I dig deep trying to understand it fully. I seek and speak TRUTH. I have no agenda other than to attempt to wake others up and disseminate the information I find in my research. Become informed by listening!

Hello Mandy, your exit paragraph above sounded so familiar.It was like my thoughts about politics in the 70s. Then in the 80s my friend circles were decidedly activist and Green in political thoughts and habits. The think global act local life. For me that was coop, recycling and political discussion always looking for the progressive candidate. The 90s were my done with this time. Still Green minded but my personal life demanded more attention than my political activism and that mirrored your thoughts above. But I still found myself in progressive circles and talk about Green Party organizing became action with Nader's run. Since then my community organized a strong county Green Party Board of Elections group. From there we have been running candidates and even won one race and looking forward to more wins.My point in this note is please do not give up. Grab your community's Green influencers, give them time to discuss Green actions and policy with your impressions. Green party grass root democracy works. I hope you return to the show
